The Objective
The client requested immersive 3D sequences for a live performance combining sound and physical movement. He specifically asked for a main character who acts as a liminal being across multiple worlds. This character needed to be a constantly evolving entity that does not belong to any single place. The visual narrative also required two highly contrasting environments for this character to navigate. Part 1 portrayed a cold, metallic, and futuristic aesthetic, while Part 2 focused on an organic environment closely tied to nature.
The Approach
I managed the entire 3D production pipeline and focused heavily on character and environment design. To realize the client's vision, I designed the protagonist as a fluid intermediate being that constantly transforms as it moves between the contrasting worlds. I structured the environments to highlight the stark visual shift from metallic structures to organic landscapes.
